رفيق الذكر is designed to support daily worship and reflection. The app offers Quran reading, adhkar, duas, tasbeeh counters, names of Allah, and a qibla direction tool, with most content and progress handled directly on the user's device.

2. Permissions We Request

• Location: used only for the qibla feature to calculate the direction of the Kaaba based on your device location.
• Notifications: used only if you enable local reminders for morning adhkar, evening adhkar, or daily wird.
• Vibration: used for optional tactile feedback in the tasbeeh experience.

3. Data We Access or Store

• The app does not require account creation or sign-in.
• The app does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or payment information.
• The app stores limited app state locally on your device for core functionality. This may include theme preferences, font size, favorites, Quran bookmark, adhkar progress, tasbeeh counters, reminder settings, and daily wird progress.
• When you use the qibla feature, the app may access your current or last known device location to determine qibla direction.

4. How Data Is Used

• To remember your in-app preferences and worship progress
• To restore tasbeeh counters, favorites, and Quran bookmark
• To schedule local reminders that you choose to enable
• To calculate qibla direction when you open the qibla tool

5. Data Sharing and Network Use

In the current version, the app does not sell your personal data and does not upload your worship progress, tasbeeh records, or favorites to Sphinx Dev servers. The app is designed to work primarily with local content and local storage.

If you interact with external platform services or open links such as the developer website, those services operate under their own privacy policies.

6. Analytics, Ads, and Third Parties

• The current app version does not include advertising SDKs.
• The current app version does not include third-party analytics SDKs.
• The app relies on device and platform components for notifications, timezone detection, local storage, sensors, and location services.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Local app data remains on your device until you clear the app data or uninstall the app. Sphinx Dev does not maintain a remote account-based copy of your local worship progress in the current version.

8. Security

The app stores its local state inside the app's private storage where possible. No system can guarantee absolute security, but the app is intentionally designed to minimize remote data handling.

9. Children's Privacy

The app is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal data from children through the app itself.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the app adds new features, permissions, analytics, advertising, cloud sync, or any other data handling changes. When that happens, the updated version will be published on this page with a new revision date.
